Timing is Everything
We have prepared for this race our whole life.
We have gathered the team, and the vehicle has been rolled into place.
Imagine...
You climb in to the cockpit of the coolest... hottest car,
It's filled with the most powerful fuel on the planet.
The Dragster. A Funny Car.
Your tighten your helmet, place your hands in front of you;
one gripping the steering wheel so tightly your knuckles are stark white...
the other grasping the gear shift ready to react.
Your eyes glued to the lights
the colors
the christmas tree...
waiting for the flashes to begin...
Top to bottom they'll go:
RED
ORANGE
YELLOW
GREEN
BAMM!!!
You hit the pedal - the Nitro kicks in!!
The G-force slams you against the seat...
as you are propelled like a rocket down the track
and before you know it,
your have crossed the finish line...
with speeds beyond the human eyes capability to follow!
You have taken flight
the parachutes engage behind you to steady the momentum...
You now know you what it feels like to fly.
